In 1994 David Espich, A local magician and Officer Joe Middendorf, Started a Charity Haunted House, For all ages bringing the true Halloween spirit to the town of Delhi Township. From rasing money for the Delhi Police Explorers, they also receive donations of can goods as discount off every ticket for a local food bank. Like many Charity attractions like St Rita's Haunted House & many Jaycee Haunts they had help with donations from lumber to caskets. But more importantly brought make-up artists and actors of all ages together to create fun place and a family atmosphere, by local restaurants donating to feed the actors and staff, We may not had the best costumes or masks, But what we had was passion and love for everything Halloween. Was every room perfect no, It didn't have to be movie-like to think outside the box to make something work, is learning this is about "Not" being perfect. Look at the 30s Classics, it was bats on string but what they lack in effects they had with atmosphere and character, Dungeons had a lot of through the years from David's Herman Munster type Monster to the Electric Chair, to movie monsters played by many note worthy like Micheal Myers played by Ty Jero, Christian Ramey as Freddy among others, The Birth of Oswald played by Andy Becker, Fatso the Clown played by Dan Leopold, John Colleta as Toxic Lou, Buddy the Bum played by Jake Rouse or his Father Chainsaw Cec played by Cecil Rouse or later Madd Matt and Mean Mark played by Matt Mateikat and Mark Mateikat who would become managers in it's final run, Jerry Wessler as New Blood and I hate to toot my own horn who started the trend of creating our own character me, Damien Reaper. And with that without Dungeons of Delhi I wouldn't of had a direction, a path of creativity to unleash the inner MonStar that lasted to this day, like many we all found friends who we saw as family at Dungeons of Delhi, Non of us were forced to be there or had to sign contracts. We wanted to be there to be creative and the limitations made us have more imagination. No one needed to be number 1 or anything but add to the Legacy that is Halloween. And it didn't cost the public more than 10 dollars to enjoy the show.  This is The Dungeons of Delhi Legacy.
